A Little Magic For Children, is pure fantasy. Sammy the Squirrel describes a terrible storm that made a family of squirrels flee from their home and take refuge on an island in a lake. After the storm, the squirrel family leave the island and return to find their home had been destroyed. Working as a family they find a suitable tree and build a new nest. The little Chimney sweep depicts a dream in which a Little Chimney Sweep relates his life and tells Micheal the dreamer, to write down his own dream for his own future. The Squirrels Feast shows how tame squirrels can behave when they smell fresh free nuts. Falling Leaf is a tale depicting how a vivid dream lead a young girl to take dandelions home to her mother. The mother was sick and to please her daughter, ate the dandelions including the roots to regain her health. Knowledge of healing must have happened by chance initially, before there was any formal medical knowledge, and by experience. It has now been discovered that dandelions and other herbs do have healing properties.The author wishes to thank Sandra Bosson for her painting of a squirrel. Thank you Sandra.
