Applying the objectivity of science this rework of some long standing fundamental ideas examines the traditional but invalid concept of reality. To attain a more valid concept of reality one must comprehend certain general limitations on the formation of that concept-limitations imposed byones fundamental nature. This book begins with a review of some relevant characteristics of science. Next comes an exploration of the natural foundations of life. Critical limitations that the processes of life impose on a valid reality concept are subsequently revealed. This sequence of events results in a more valid concept of a concept per se. One comes to understand how the fundamental and long-held concept of reality could never have been established logically in the first place. The newly emergent concept of reality is thus intriguingly different from the notion ofreality that traditionally has been entertained.
