Despite the hardships of her life, she has endured through the strength of God to become a teacher of purpose. She formed a ministry called The Sheltering Tree Ministries in Lubbock, Texas where she worked closely with woman of all backgrounds as they walked through many of her same trials- physical abuse, divorce, and becoming a widow. Today, she continues mentoring women through her ministry. CJ currently lives in north-central Texas with her husband David.
