Jesus makes this promise because after He created the heavens and the earth, He rested and blessed the day, Gen 2:3. Unfortunately, it is believed by many that there is no Sabbath (rest) for the Christian; that since Christs work of redemption, our blessed day of rest has been taken from us. Could this be true?
