Should we feel shamed by what our ancestors did? Are we doing anything that will make our descendants feel ashamed? While researching World War II for a school project, Jenn, Jo and Jas find secrets in each others past that bind them together. Why werent the Nazis prosecuted for the murder of more than forty Royal Winnipeg soldiers, including Jos great-grandfather? Why wont Jaslyns mom tell her anything about her fathers side of the family? Jenn, though, discovers a lot more than she wants to know about her great-great grandfather. Those discoveries force her to ask herself hard questions making her wonder if forgotten secrets should stay forgotten.
