Liberty Legacies has been born from the impact it had on our students to do the Legacy Project for our neighbors at Rigden Farms Senior Living in the fall of 2015. Interviewing the residents and learning from their stories and advice inspired our authors want to go and dig into their own family member’s stories.The stories in Liberty Legacies speak of hard work, dedication, adventure and the ups and downs of life accompanied by an unwavering passion for life. The lives of the individuals in our stories will have you crying and laughing all at the same time! The Liberty Common High School Ambassadors Club was born on the 2012-2013 school year from the need to teach our school community to be more welcoming to our new students. Our club's mission is to welcome new students into our school and to help them adapt academically and socially to Liberty Common High School. The club also wants to provide students with opportunities to take leadership positions in carrying out different activities while having fun, and doing positive things for our school’s student life. Ambassadors Club wants to spread the values of Justice, Patriotism, Prudence, Temperance, Gratitude and Fortitude through our school community service projects and to encourage our students to live by those values with activities such as fundraising to give Mugs & Pajamas to the veterans in the VA Hospital in Cheyenne, care visits to children in Respite Care and support the school our club helped open in Bujumbura, Burundi among other projects.
