Social networks have become very popular in recent years because of the increasing proliferation and affordability of internet-enabled devices such as personal computers, mobile devices, and other more recent hardware innovations such as internet tablets. This is evidenced by the burgeoning popularity of many online social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Such social networks have led to a tremendous explosion of network-centric data in a wide variety of scenarios. There are many apps that are being used by everyone regularly. The most common app market is the google play store. In order to use the best app, the user goes through the reviews of the app. Consumer reviews are now part of everyday decision-making. Yet, the credibility of these reviews is fundamentally undermined when businesses generate fraudulent reviews for themselves or for their competitors. In this book, we used the deep walk approach to characterize each reviewers behavior and subsequently we applied supervised machine-learning algorithms to identify the accurate characterization of all reviewers.
