In such tumultuous times, who will find their happiness, and at what cost? Lastly, King Sangili of Jaffna is an exploration of a young man struggling to reconcile his private quest for love and justice with the duties of the throne that have been thrust upon him. Unlike the typically confident ruler of lore, he is troubled by his inexperience and the difficulty of making wise choices. And with conspiracy afoot at each turn, the eponymous character has no time to lose in figuring out for himself what it truly takes to be king.
