As the Shepherd of our souls, God knows what things we have need of. As Father, He has also supplied the need; however, because of the condition of our hearts, the supply is often met with opposition. Because of unbelief, three out of four of us will reject the wisdom sown in our hearts. This occurs primarily because our identity (who we are in Christ) has not been established; making us ill-prepared to function in His likeness; to think like Him. Consequently, we are not equipped to handle the storms of life. Finding ourselves going around the same mountain again and again, we sit back and question God.
