I described some of the theories, including Geoffrey Ashe's, and wondered how it might have played out in history if true. I wished that someone would write a story about it and it occurred to me that I should puzzle it out.2) What do you find fascinating about King Arthur?I love the mystery of the Dark Ages. The history surrounding Arthur's era is fascinating, with the Roman Empire collapsing in the west, tribal migrations, wars and new nations forming. Most people have never read the original stories about Arthur and his warriors, before the Knights of the Round Table and other later legends developed. Did you know they were more likely to fight giants than dragons?3) How hard is it to bring real historical events to life in an Arthurian novel?It
