The present book is a semi-autobiography, partly fiction partly non-fiction. It is the story of a woman who is born and raised to her teen years in Kerman, Iran, but due to some mishap she ends up in London working, going to university, falling in love and many other things. Later, due to a very stupid mistake she returns to Iran, where her passport is confiscated by the SAVAK, Shah’s secret service and she is stuck in Iran for the rest of her life, experiencing the Revolution in 1979 and later the Iran-Iraq War and many other things. This novel is translated to English from Persian, the original language of the story.
