The U.S. Constitution has been abandoned, resulting in confusing/complicated federal government activity. The difficulty started through misinterpretation of the written document. For the most part, aggressively liberal-thinking people have ignored the Constitution and its intent - thrusting the now unlimited federal government nose into societal issues it has no authority (according to the Constitution) to address. This has resulted in: a massive, out of control executive branch; out of control spending now incurring unimaginable debt; uncontrolled legislative branch personnel making inappropriate decisions (laws); a federal judicial system which doesnt seem to meet the needs of enforcing the Constitution; a circus called the presidential election. This situation with no rules to federal government action combined with ignorant/biased people supposedly in control is leading the U.S. into an abyss of a third-world style society. There is a way out. But it will be rough, painful. It starts with reading the document without putting words in its mouth. Eliminating the misinterpretations will result in a vastly different, limited government - for instance, cutting the executive cabinet in half by eliminating what the author calls non-Constitutional cabinet departments. Other fixes to the troubling current situation include: procedural changes to confirming constitutionality of proposed congressional law, term limits for congressional members, elimination of the federal income tax, assumption of the states for local/personal needs per the tenth amendment. This book addresses holes in the wording which have been exploited by unscrupulous people with agendas not covered by the rules formulated in The Constitution. Runaway, unlimited, inappropriate federal government activity is killing the U.S. These controversial, painful, yet necessary fixes are needed
